Hi! I'm your newest follower.
I read your bio and can totally relate. I've also gone down the road of sending out querie letters without getting any bites and I know how discouraging that can be. I too ended up shelving my manuscript and decided to change course and head down the road of the short story. Presently, I'm waiting to hear back from the publishers (and what a long and agonizing wait it has been!) and while I wait, I blog. At least with blogging, I can watch the number of hits and followers grow and know that at least some people enjoy my work.
