Some Good Advice

Jessica Faust over at BookEnds LLC has a great post about what to do with your Galley's/ARC's (advanced reader copies) when you get published. Never really thought of it before but you will have to work as hard as your publishers to help promote your book. There is no sitting back to rest on your laurals. Here are a few suggestions that the lovely agents over at BookEnds give to help.

Twitter!

For those of you out there who are on Twitter (and if you're not you're missing out) Follow the Reader has posted a list of their favorite Tweeting Publishers. As a writer I think getting these people's insight is beyond invaluable so I wanted to share the list.

Boost up your Following lists people!

P.S. thanks to Nathan Bransford for adding this to his "This week in Publishing"

A New Book Blog

So my friend Jen is a Bibliophile in the truest sense of the word. I think she has more books than the library of congress. :D Anyway she is always one of my go-to's when I need a new book to read and she has started a book blog.

If you're into YA, Chick Lit, and/or Romance novels I highly suggest you check it out because she has some great taste.
