What If...
I figured I would play the "What if..." game today. What if you could choose any one author (living or dead) to work with on a project, who would it be?
Honestly, I'm not sure I have an answer to this myself. There are too many authors I would love to pen something with that I can't really pick one. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle? J.K. Rowling? Dan Brown maybe? hmmm....
What about you? Do you have an authorial hero you'd give anything to work with?

Oh, I like this game!
I would want to hang out with Mark Twain. He was a master storyteller and incorporated dialect superbly. James Baldwin, because he was so deliberated and eloquent in his use of language. James Grisham, because of he the insight of a criminal mind and the fact that he wrote en route to work on the commuter train. William Faulkner, also a great storyteller and wrote from a southerner's perspective and OMG! I haven't named not one female and the are who I read mostly! Hmmm.....I have to say Paula Giddings, for her research and perspective on the role of African American women during the Civil Rights Movement.
e.e. cummings
without a doubt.
;)
Alexandre Dumas (the Count of Monte Cristo) would be my choice. A fantastic author!
